  • Project Management: Leland Strategies provides experienced project managers for COTS projects with data exchanges (integration, interfaces) as well as for implementation of customized software. Project managers have experience in PMI methodologies and project management tools to include Microsoft Project.  Our emphasis is on communication.  We identify risks and issues and use communication in all directions as a strategy to resolve and mitigate issues and risks whenever possible.
  • Policy and Procedure Revision/Development:  New systems often mean new and improved ways of doing business.  New technology can create the need for brand new policies and procedures.  Leland Strategies can help your agency write these policies and procedures using model policies, state legislation and the needs of your agency as a guide.

In the field of law enforcement this means policies that can be used to support CALEA certification and stay on top of the latest developments in body worn cameras and use of force.  We can work with your software vendor to design custom training that incorporates your policies and procedures into software roll-out training.

Our training techniques adhere to the principles of Adult Learning employing a “Show it, Do it, Test It” approach and is developed based on the ADDIE concept; Analysis, Design, Delivery, Implementation, Evaluation.  Leland Strategies can develop both Classroom Training and Web-based training.  We are advocates of “Flip the Classroom” which requires students to first take web-based training and follow it with classroom training.  Students come to the classroom familiar with the material and are poised to ask questions
